Gonggi Game with Cover Small

Gonggi (공기놀이) is a traditional Korean children’s game—similar to jacks—that appears in Squid Game. What is Gonggi? Gonggi is played with five small stones or plastic pieces. The goal is to toss one piece in the air and quickly pick up others before catching the tossed piece—progressing through increasingly difficult stages. 🕹️ Basic Rules (Classic Version) Stage 1: Toss one piece up, pick up one from the floor, catch the tossed piece. Stage 2: Toss one up, pick up two at once. Stage 3: Pick up three at once. Stage 4: Pick up all four at once. Final Stage: Toss all pieces up from your palm, flip your hand, and catch them on the back of your hand—then toss and catch again. If you drop a piece or fail to catch the tossed one, your turn ends. 🔴 In Squid Game In Season 2, Gonggi is included as one of the childhood games turned into a high-stakes survival challenge—staying true to the show’s theme of transforming innocent children’s games into deadly competitions. If you want, I can explain the exact rules as shown in the series or how to play it at home safely.
